RES Research 2026 - AI in Global Mobility - headers

AI in Global Mobility

In September 2024, the RES Forum published a piece of research concerning AI and its (mis)use in Global Mobility

At the time, Artificial Intelligence was slowly finding its way into various aspects of our lives. Including Global Mobility.

As we move into 2026, this rapidly evolving technology has become commonplace, not just in HR and GM, but across the board.

With the changes and developments we have seen over the past year, we feel it's time to take another look at the role AI plays in business, and understand what it means for international and cross-border work.

Importantly, we want to know what you think.

Take our AI maturity survey

AI maturity survey

The first step is a comprehensive self-assessment survey to understand the status of AI across the industry.

Designed to help individual organisations benchmark their maturity in the adoption and use of AI, specifically within GM, the survey covers 20 questions, grouped into six dimensions of AI maturity.

- Vision and strategy

- Leadership and governance

- Talent, culture and capability

- Data and infrastructure readiness

- Use case identification and execution

- External orientation and continuous improvement

The survey is available on Google Forms - click here

Benchmarking and results

What does your score actually mean?

Once we have enough responses to provide meaningful data, we will calculate average scores per category, as well as an overall AI maturity score.

This anonymised information will be aggregated and shared among all respondents, allowing you to benchmark your AI maturity against other participating organisations.

You can also share your thoughts directly

Three bullets. Three Sentences. Three Paragraphs.

Or more, depending on what you have to say.

Your piece will be part of a comprehensive research paper, and may also be published on the RES Forum blog and LinkedIn page.

This can be done anonymously, if you prefer.
